Right Lane Ends is a Portland-based Progressive/Alternative Rock band playing a wide range of sweet and heavy, mathy and straight-ahead original music. RLE has been rocking venues in Portland, Eugene and beyond since 2012, including both the Roseland and Hawthorne Theaters. We fit in with the hard rock misfits, the soft rock crooners and all points in between. “Finishing up the night was the enigmatic Right Lane Ends. Rising from the ashes of Skyshatter in 2012, Right Lane Ends has been through a lot of ups and downs, including lineup changes and a crushing gear theft, but have come back stronger than ever. Right Lane Ends are a band that defies classification, and you can stick your genre labels up your ass. I guess if Rush and Yes were the maternal grandparents, and RHCP and Smashing Pumpkins were the father's parents, then the resulting grandchild would be Right Lane Ends. The Rush influence is most visible in the drum skills (and kit) of drummer Adam, who has enough diverse elements in his kit to start a percussion store. Agile and mobile bassist Zack plays the bass like he has 4 hands, and guitarist Thomas has never met a complicated lick he didn't like. Wrap it up with the haunting yet powerful vocals of tambourine-wielding Michael, and you have a package designed to inspire. This is a band that will go far.”
